Calu's Beastie Boys

Gretchen's longtime dream of raising goats has finally checked its head with this herd of Pygoras! While Pygoras are their own unique breed, they were established in the early 1980s—just like the original Beastie Boys. Since Gretchen is a lifelong Beastie Boys fan, it only made sense to fight for her right to give the herd names inspired by the legendary trio. So don't be surprised if these goats have a tendency to sabotage our best laid plans—they're here to make some noise!

Ad Rock

Ad Rock is the sassy, independnet boss of the Beasties. He enjoys snacks, walking the opposite direction you want him to, and headbutting Buttercup, Calu's guardian dog.

Mike D

Mike D heard that we wanted goats who would grow out beautiful, soft locks and he said, "Hold my beer. I got you!" This boy's fleece is amazing! He enjoys being told he's pretty, fist bumps, and standing on his tippy toes to eat aspen tree branches.

MCA

MCA is the baby of the boys. He's sweet and snuggly, but when the feed bowl is put down he will lock in and block the big boys! MCA enjoys sunshine, following his brothers, and showing off that he's not a baby, he's a big boy.
